Innkeeper - Elise Yap, a  third generation Hakka Chinese
Jamaican with a smidgen of German genes, has been
involved in the tourism industry for over 19 years.

A native born Jamaican who cherishes her multi-cultural
heritage, Elise is in tune with her homeland, the Jamaican
culture and her fellow Jamaicans. She delights in sharing her
intimate knowledge and love of Jamaica with visitors from
all over the world.
A tiny, charming whirlwind of energy, she's passionate about
life and delights in exchanging thoughts and ideas on a wide
range of topics. With her  innate hospitality and caring
concern for everyone, Elise makes an ideal host for your
dream Jamaican vacation.

After a major spiritual rebirth 5 years ago, she was led to
start Bread Basket Ministries, a Christian Non Profit
Charity that serves destitute children, families and the aged
in the surrounding neighbourhoods of Ocho Rios.

Elise's brother, Darryl, is The Blue House's "Barefoot Chef".

A big "Teddy Bear" of a guy, Darryl regularly reaps rave
reviews for his tremendously gifted, God-given culinary skills.

He is happiest when he is enthusiastically whipping up a
variety of delectable delights in his kitchen.

Darryl's specialities include mouth watering Jamaican,
Hakka Chinese, Cuban, Italian, American and Continental
cuisine.
