US Residents can order copies for notarization at: http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/howto/w2w/w2welcom.htm. All documentation must be received no later than 30 days before the wedding date. If the required documents are received later than that a $150 late fee will be charged. Appointment with wedding coordinator: You are required to be at The Blue House 2 business days prior to the wedding date. The day after your arrival at The Blue House, the wedding coordinator will meet with you for a walk through a wrap-up discussion on:
Ocho Rios Jamaica Catholic Weddings Ocho Rios Jamaica Destination Wedding Ceremony: Our in house wedding ceremony lasts about 15 minutes with commonly used wedding vows (“to love and to cherish”). You may not modify it, but you may add your own short exchange that has a special meaning to you. Should you like to incorporate a unity candle lightning ceremony, please be sure to bring your own candle. Same applies to coloured sand for Sand Ceremony. Standard Music: CD Player is provided, you can bring CD of your choice. If not, traditional music will be played. Reception: a table with a beautiful Jamaica wedding cake and champagne will be set up for you What to wear: Church weddings in Jamaica require circumspect attire, otherwise wear whatever you dreamed of. Keep in mind that Jamaica is a tropical country so it will be hot. Couples wear from traditional dresses and tuxedos to casual wear with bare feet. Marriage certificate: The day of the ceremony you will receive a temporary copy of your wedding certificate. Documents will be sent to Wedding Registry in Kingston for them to issue your original wedding certificate. It can take 12-16 weeks for the certificate to be mailed. |

| Destination Wedding Administration Fees A mandatory and non-refundable administration, processing, Jamaica government license and marriage certificate fee of $250 is required for destination wedding reservations. Payment must arrive at least 45 days prior to the wedding date. Cancelling or making changes to existing wedding ceremony: If you wish to cancel the wedding ceremony, change the day of the wedding or make any other changes to your wedding arrangements you must do so 7 days from the date of booking the wedding, after that the $250 Wedding Administration Fee becomes non refundable. |
